While I was working on the chopstick necklace you saw earlier this week, Caitlin began asking me to help. She has done a few kid necklaces in Sunday School and Mommy's Morning Out and loves stringing those foam or macaroni beads onto a cord. I let her help me string the chopstick necklace, but also promised her that I'd find some beads just for her.
I honestly didn't look too hard. But as I was in the checkout line at JoAnn's there in the $1 bin, was a pack of plastic beads. So of course I picked up a bag. Now, I'm kicking myself for not getting two or three.
We made bracelets and necklaces. Can you tell who made what??
But I think the coolest thing we made were these single bead wire rings.
They were so simple. You just slip on a star bead, measure your finger and wrap the wire. Move the bead to cover up the wire ends and there you go. Cute!
