Millie Fierce book review

Do you have kids who are mild mannered or do you have kids who are a little bit fierce? Depending on the moment, Caitlin could go either way. She's a sweet girl, but at three, she's experimenting with when to be aggressive and when not to. I think that's why she loves reading Millie Fierce.

I was so happy when I was contacted by TLC Book Tours about a book review for Millie Fierce by Jane Manning. It's an absolutely fantastic book for my little pre-K girl with such cute illustrations.

Millie is a quiet little girl who gets tired of being ignored. When some girls from school trample of her best yet flower drawing she becomes fierce. Millie frizzes out her hair and files down her nails into little points. She wreaks havoc where ever she goes. And she learns that being fierce can hurt other people's feelings. Millie's journey teaches a lovely lesson for kids aged 3 - 7 helping them understand the consequences of their actions both positive and negative.

Jane has illustrated dozens of children's books, including the Little Goblins Ten by Pamela Jane, and TheNew York Times Bestseller The Witch Who Was Afraid of Witches by Alice Low.  She has won many awards for her artwork.  Her books are included in Scholastic Book Clubs and many pick of the lists.
She is the author and illustrator of 2008's Cat Nights (Greenwillow).
Millie Fierce is the second book she has authored.

The Millie Fierce website also mentions to "Look for upcoming Millie titles." I can't wait!
