Fudgey, chocolatey, peanut buttery goodness that tastes just like a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup and it took me less than 5 minutes to make. Oh Yeah!
I adapted this recipe from the one at Mom on Time Out. And let me tell you it was really hard to adapt it considering there are only 2 ingredients. Yep, you read that right 2 ingredients! (Well, three if you count the butter on the pan, but still….) Anyway, I read her post and just HAD to try it out for myself. I’m so glad I did too because these are amazing! I will definitely be making these more than once.
butter to grease your pan/foil
1 pound chocolate bark (or chocolate candy coating)
1 1/3 cups peanut butter (creamy or chunky is totally your choice, I used creamy)
Line a square pan with foil.
Rub some cold butter on the foil so your candy doesn’t stick to it later.
Melt chocolate according to package instructions. Typically 90 seconds in the microwave will do it.
Stir in your peanut butter.
Pour into foil lined pan.
Put in fridge until set, about an hour. I know it’s hard to wait, but it will be worth it. I promise.
Cut into small pieces. Eat the first one and then plate the rest.
Although you can’t see the peanut butter, you can certainly taste it and I swear they taste just like Reese’s peanut butter cups. So good!
