Leather & Lace Bracelets

Leather is one of the hot trends right now. How are you wearing it? I decided to make some quick bracelets with suede cording and a little lace. Because well, I just like leather and lace.

You need:
Lace (preferably with some holes you can weave the suede cording through)
Suede or other types of leather cording
Ribbon Ends
Jump rings
Clasps

Cut about 6 inches of lace. Weave the cording through and cut.

Hammer your ribbon ends on, add jump rings and clasps.

It's seriously that fast! I think one bracelet maybe took me 10 minutes. And you can decide how much leather and how much lace you want. You just turn the bracelet over for more or less leather. This first picture has more lace.

And the second shows more of the leather.

I also made some suede braided bracelets. You can wear those alone or stack them with the leather and lace bracelets like the top picture. I kind-a like them best together.

  1. Pretty. And nice and simple. I'm making a corset belt with leather this winter. And I'd like to take a shot at a pair of gloves. I have a 1916 Singer treadle sewing machine, and it sews leather like a dream :o)
