Love of Cooking Cookbook Giveaway

Have you exhausted all of your cooking prowess over Thanksgiving? You want to cook something new and exciting for Christmas, but just aren't sure what. I've got you covered! Well, I've got two of you covered.

Check out the new Love of Cooking Christmas book that's part of the Love of Cooking series. This cookbook is so new that the print copies are just coming out this week!! The kindle edition is available now if you want to check it out.

The authors are Maggie and Brooke; a mother-daughter team. Maggie (the mom) has been planning parties and cooking for crowds for all of her daughter’s life. Brooke (the daughter) followed suit by becoming a caterer and event planner with a hospitality degree. These Texas born women now live in Atlanta, Georgia. You will notice in their recipes a spicy southwestern style with a hint of southern charm. They cook and work together on a daily basis. Each of their recipes has been tested in their homes or the homes of friends and family. They are very hopeful that you love the recipes that they have added to this cookbook collection

I got to ask Maggie and Brooke a few questions about themselves for this giveaway and here's what they told me.

We have been cooking together all of my (Brooke's) life. Mom found early on how much she loved taking recipes or just ingredients and creating something new and different. She taught me a love of cooking as well hence the name of the series. The other reason for the name is that we want folks to fall in love with cooking again. It is very important to us that cooks from brand new to experienced cooks will be able to use our recipes to make wonderful meals. We try to write them as though we were telling them to a friend. We are such a fast food society that having access to easy to follow recipes that turn out like a pro made them will keep more people eating at home. Mom and I always wanted to work together and discovered writing e-books and now print books was the perfect way to work together and share our love of cooking.

I can totally relate to Maggie and Brooke. Ok, not the whole working together or writing a book together thing. BUT, my mom taught me how to cook and one of the things I cherish doing with my daughter is cooking with her. Caitlin is only three but she's already cooking with me a lot and asks to help me every time I'm in there. I look forward to cooking with my girls more and more.

And did you see those photos of some of their recipes at the top of the page? Can you say - mouth watering??
