I hate the cold, but I love snowmen.
I especially love decorating with them this time of year because you can put them up before Christmas, but feel no pressure to take them down after Christmas has passed. I’ll leave them up the whole month of January and only take them down when I start decorating for Valentine’s Day. You just can’t do that with any Christmas decorations. (I suppose snowmen would be more accurately described as winter decorations not Christmas because they have absolutely nothing to do with Christmas, but that’s a whole other discussion.)
So, anyway. I know this cute little project isn’t anything super new, but it’s so adorable. I also didn’t take any tutorial pics because I think you can figure it out by looking at it.
I had Hubs use the jig saw to cut out little pieces to make the hat shape. Then I very literally dipped the 2 x 4 blocks into the white paint can and used a brush to brush off the excess paint. After that dried, I turned them upside down and dipped them into the black.
I painted on the faces and hot glued a ribbon to make the scarf.
Easy peasy and one of my favorite little decorations this year.
And don’t they just look like little carolers?? Little block snowmen knocking on your door to sing you Walking in a Winter Wonderland or Frosty the Snowman.
