I have to admit, this #MakeIt project HAD to be a quick project for me. We’ve been cooped up and parked on the couch all last week because of a combo of winter weather and a week of sick kids. I am SO ready for warmer weather, Spring, planting gardens, and Easter! In the midst of our crazy week, making a pretty painted Easter sign was a nice break for a little momma time AND a little reminder that all those good things are on the way.
I can see this sign being used to direct guests to the actual Egg Hunt or as table decor surrounded by lots of yummy Easter snacks.
To make this project, you’ll need a canvas, a pencil, and paint. If you’re a craft supply hoarder like me you already have these on hand!
Begin by sketching your design on the canvas. As you can see I erased a few times to get it right.
Paint text with white to cover up your pencil marks.
Let dry again and you have a cute Easter sign ready for your party.
